Seven Seas Navigator’s Luxury Makeover
Just in time to ring in the new year, Regent Seven Seas Navigator completed an intensive 50-day “rehab” last week and emerged refreshed and rejuvenated from stem to stern. The 490-passenger all-suite luxury vessel joins her big sisters, Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager, with a stunning new look and feel. Rich, warm fabrics and furnishings transform this once modest and understated ship to an elegant, “floating manor home”.
Here’s good news for groups:
- Tantalizing Dining – Upgraded menus and more dining options including Prime 7, a reservations-only gourmet grill (with no additional service fees)
- Wellness at Sea – Canyon Ranch SpaClub with more treatment rooms, fitness classes and amenities
- Updated public areas including an outdoor lounge where attendees can relax after meetings and enjoy the fresh sea air
- Butler service in Category C suites and higher (did I mention that all Navigator accommodations are ocean view suites – 90% with private balconies?)
Makeover highlights at a glance:
Prime 7 – Seven Seas Navigator’s new restaurant features a rich palette of green and gold, with supple leather seating, granite and burnished woods. Prime-aged steaks and chops as well as fresh seafood on the menu.
Compass Rose – The ship’s main dining room has undergone a dramatic update with new window treatments, carpets and plush cranberry and camel armchairs. New signature china, silver and glassware complete the redesign.
La Veranda (formerly Portofino)–This dining option features both indoor and al fresco seating. New furniture, carpeting and draperies create an elegant ambiance. Food stations have been redesigned and enhanced for lavish breakfast and lunch buffets. In the evening, select from a menu of regionally themed specialties.
A New Pool Grill features a hot and cold buffet, panini sandwich station and coffee and dessert area in addition to a state-of-the-art barbecue grill. The Pool Bar was enhanced with a new ice cream station, fully equipped with machines for milkshakes and frappes.
Star’s Lounge – A ruby-red carpet running the length of the entryway sets the stage for this glamorous club with furnishings that exude a classic Hollywood elegance.
Galileo’s has bold new interiors, window coverings and a sleek new bar area. An outdoor lounge has been added with stylish sofas and chaises overlooking the sea.
Navigator Lounge features rich hues of cappuccino, camel and navy accented by apple-green. The card room and library were also redecorated.
Canyon Ranch SpaClub: The former health club and an observation lounge have been transformed into the ship’s new Canyon Ranch SpaClub. The serene and stylish wellness center has body and skin-care, massage and thalassotherapy treatment rooms, including a couples’ suite. A new aerobics studio and gymnasium boast panoramic ocean views. A juice bar and relaxation lounge are additional SpaClub amenities.
For Meeting Planners:
Seven Seas Navigator is ideal for full-ship charters in the Caribbean during the winter or Alaska voyages in the summer. And the all-inclusive Regent experience (complimentary beverages including wines & spirits, in-suite mini-bar, gratuities) makes budget planning a whole lot easier.
