”Well it’s been over a week and most of the buzz about the Oasis has slowed down. During the same time period the new Celebrity Equinox arrived in Port Everglades for the first visit to the US. I had friends who sailed on the 4-day cruise prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. These are seasoned travelers that have sailed with many cruise lines, and they returned absolutely impressed with the Celebrity ship.

“Their exact words were ‘the ship was gorgeous, the food was excellent, and the entertainment was the best we’ve ever seen. For the first time on any cruise we made it our business to see all the shows. The service was extraordinary; everyone on the ship was very friendly and helpful. On the upper deck the buffet was situated so that there were no lines and no waiting.’

“It sounds as if the Celebrity brand has earned its name, providing the hardware, food and service they are well-known for.  So, I add another new ship to the ‘Ship Bucket List’ to sail on.”
