Seabourn Odyssey Debuts in Ft. Lauderdale
The Seabourn Odyssey made her debut in Ft. Lauderdale on November 12, 2009 and some of our staff was invited to get a personal look at the new beauty. The Odyssey is the first of 3 new ships to debut from Seabourn. She will be followed by the Seabourn Soujourn in 2010 and a new build in 2011. All three will be all suite vessels providing extraordinary levels of personal service. Some of the highlights include:
- 225 luxury suites, 90% of them with verandas
- In-suite amenities including a spacious closet, flat screen interactive TV, and Pure Pampering therapeutic bath menu
- Seabourn Square: an innovative concierge lounge
- The Retreat: a multi-diversion plaza featuring a nine golf putting course, giant chessboard and shuffleboard
- Four restaurants featuring gourmet and award winning menus
- The Spa at Seabourn, the largest on any ultra-luxury vessel
Brad Nickel, our VP of Marketing and Product Development, was invited to tour the ship this past week. He said “the suites were extraordinary and very luxurious. The meeting facilities onboard were perfect for groups and conferences at sea.” He also found the lunch provided to be excellent and exactly what he would imagine on a ship of this quality. Take a look at some of his tour of the ship below.
